FAQ's
Who will be caring for my child?
Your child will be cared for by a trained team of adults and youth leaders who are passionate about creating a safe, fun, and welcoming environment for every camper.
All volunteers ages 18+ have a current Vulnerable Sector Check, and our team follows Kingdom Church's Plan to Protect policies throughout the week.
What is the leader-to-child ratio?
We want every child to feel seen and supported.
Our goal is a maximum ratio of 2 leaders (1 adult and 1 youth) for every 10 children, with final ratios based on registration numbers.
How do you keep kids safe during check-in and pick-up?
Just like Kingdom Kids on Sundays, every family receives a security tag at check-in.
The matching tag is required for pick-up each afternoon.
For added security, parents do not enter the auditorium. Our team will bring children to and from the check-in area.
What if someone else is picking up my child?
No problem!
The person picking up your child will need a photo of your security tag, and we appreciate parents letting our team know ahead of time whenever possible.
What if my child gets hurt or needs medication?
Your child's safety is our priority.
Throughout the week we'll have:
How will I be contacted in an emergency?
Your camp waiver includes your cell phone number and an emergency contact.
If an emergency arises, our Kids Lead will contact you (or your emergency contact) right away.
What if my child needs extra support?
Every child is different, and we want them to feel comfortable and cared for.
When additional communication or one-on-one support is needed, we'll work with families on a case-by-case basis to create the best experience possible.
We'll also have a Sensory & Regulation Room available for children who need a quiet space to reset throughout the day.
